“Pick a Free Pumpkin” at Pumpkin Cars!
Pumpkin Fine Cars
& Trucks will be hosting their first annual “Pick a Free Pumpkin Sales
Event” Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th 2013 at their 3084
English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township, NJ location. In the spirit of Halloween, free pumpkins
will be given away simply for stopping by. The Pumpkin team will also use the
event to collect donations and canned goods for the Community FoodBank of New
Jersey, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the FoodBank. The most-needed items include canned fish and
meat, milk, boxed meals, canned packaged meals, peanut butter, and canned fruit
and vegetables. Everyone will also have the opportunity to put their name into
a raffle to win a free car detailing from Pumpkin Fine Cars & Trucks.
In these hard
times, it’s nice to know that there are charities around to help those really
in need. The auto industry has taken a
hard hit, as with many businesses.
Smaller, independent and family-owned companies are some of the hardest
hit. However, Pumpkin Fine Cars tries
its best to give back to the community through donations to the schools, sports
teams and many other charities as often as possible. Most recently, Pumpkin Cars will be donating
the proceeds from “Pick a Free Pumpkin Sales Event” to the Community FoodBank
of New Jersey. “Please don’t hesitate to
visit for just $1 or one can”, said Harrison Freon. “If even a few people take
that small effort, we will have something that will help others in a big way!
My sister, Isabella, and I plan to match the first $200 in donations from money
we earned working with my parents this summer at Pumpkin and babysitting.”
Through
organizations like the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, which distributes 40
million pounds of food a year to more than 1,000 non-profit programs, Pumpkin
will be able once again to make a difference in the lives of others. The Community FoodBank will help distribute
as much as $10 worth of food for every $1 donated through the free pumpkin
giveaway at Pumpkin Cars. Owners Franck
and Gina Freon of Pumpkin Fine Cars & Trucks have been donating to numerous
charities around the greater Atlantic City area for 15 years, and are excited
to make such a difference, especially during the upcoming holiday season.
