Help Pumpkin Help Local Charity for the Holidays

We all know that in today's consumer driven world, the winter holidays seem to creep further and further into the fall.  The day after Halloween we will start seeing Christmas decorations in malls, stores and the like.  We can also safely assume that the main reason for this is to capitalize on the holiday shopping season.  Retailers can begin getting "holiday" shoppers into their stores and in the holiday shopping mood as early in the fall as possible.  Here is one aspect of the holidays that we had to spread the word about early and implore all of our great friends and customers to join us.
This year, Pumpkin Fine Cars is making an effort to spread that holiday cheer to those of us who are less fortunate and need the help of others to give their children and families a happy holiday.  Pumpkin is joining forces with The Arc of Atlantic County to help increase the participation in The Arc's Holiday Partners Program.  The Arc of Atlantic County is a private non-profit organization that has been making a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families since it's founding in 1961.  The Arc of Atlantic County's Holiday Partners program is designed to match donors of gifts/food with families who are in need of assistance during the holidays.  Both individuals and groups can be matched with local adults or children with a developmental disability and their families who are in need of food or gifts this holiday season.  All recipients live in Atlantic County, are receiving services from The Arc of Atlantic County and are in financial need.  Donations are in the form of a wrapped, tagged gift or food items and can either be delivered directly to the family or dropped off at The Arc and they will deliver them.
Pumpkin Cars Owners' Franck and Gina Freon have generously offered to supply a drop off location at our showroom at 2511 Fire Rd, Unit B7, Egg Harbor Township, NJ for any of our friends and customers that would like to participate in the program.  Not only are we going to serve as a drop location, but also the Freon family has offered to match all gifts dropped at Pumpkin Cars!!  Franck and Gina were originally introduced to this program through their children, Harrison and Isabella's school.  Through the school they were matched with a family and donated and delivered gifts.  Gina has said that she always wants her children to realize how fortunate they are to be healthy, safe and live such a comfortable life. They wanted to make them aware that there are many others, even in our local community, that are not as lucky and do need assistance.  In an effort to increase participation in the Holiday Partners Program, Gina had the idea to offer Pumpkin's showroom and to match any donations we receive.  We then got in touch with Nicole Terzakis, the Social Services Director at The Arc, to get the ball rolling.  "Holiday Partners is a program which solely runs on donations.  We appreciate anything that we receive from our community partners.  This partnership with Pumpkin Fine Cars is exactly what we look for.  We are so happy to have this partnership and can't wait to see what happens!", said Nicole.
We here at Pumpkin Cars know what great and generous friends and customers we have and ask that you join our efforts to help this great cause for local families.  Please bring a wrapped, tagged gift to our unique indoor showroom at 2511 Fire Rd, Unit B7, Egg Harbor Township, NJ between now and Saturday, December 11th.  Pumpkin Cars will match all gifts donated and members of the Pumpkin Family will personally deliver the gifts to hopefully multiple families in need.  Please help us make the holidays happy and bright for those that cannot provide for themselves.  Please contact Pumpkin Cars at 609-646-7676 or via email at [email protected] with any questions or if you would like to participate.  You may also contact Nicole Terzakis of The Arc of Atlantic County at 609-485-0800 x 201 or via email [email protected] with any questions about The Arc of Atlantic County or the Holiday Partners Program.
